My Most Popular Post

For whatever reason, this post get's the most hits by a rather wide margin and has consistently over time. http://www.danchapa.blogspot.com/2008/05/commands-and-invitations-for-impossible.html Perhaps it's the subject matter of the post, or perhaps it's the Star Trek analogy that triggers google searches (although people do seem to spend time on the page). Another interesting thing is that there are very few comments, but posts that generated lots of comments don't get read near as often. Hum... Not sure what to make of it.

Dan, just out of curiosity, how do you know how often certain posts are visited?

Hi Boss,

I use google analytics. It's a free app that's fairly easy to set up and works well with blogger. It gives some interesting metrics from the date you set it up.

BTW, I also use google reader and recommend it as well.

God be with you,
Dan

Hi Odeliya,

Does Snarfer or any other readers you know of work with email? I think it would be cool to have it all in one.

God be with you,
Dan

Dan, brother,

There are third party ways/programs that would do it, google and choose one, but i cant recommend anything for I never tried it. Or you can use Microsoft Outlook 7( not outlook express) it has that joining email and feeds capability.

I personally like Snarfer(and i tried quite a few of them, there was only one that I liked just as much but it didnt work with Vista), for it has the typical mail layout. I am not even on your site now but i see the contents of the post in the "email" window and typing into it.And I can set the updates of Ebay auctions, there is always something i am looking for there, being a cheapskate i am :)

I honestly never thought of combining email with something else because my online activities are messy as is -some stuff is in left to right format, some right to left :) So i keep all Snarfer feeds from englishspeaking sites only, and mail is a bilingual mess :)
